Pros and cons of Skeptic Magazine app for iPhone and iPad

Skeptic Magazine app good for

I love this magazine, I just wish it was published more frequently and a part of the texture group of magazines.
Some of the smartest critical analysis of extraordinary claims, in an easy to read and attractive form. What more could you want?
This is one of my favorite magazines. I look forward to each issue and usually read it cover to cover. The Skepdoc is my favorite columnist.
I love Skeptic, and the lecture series at Caltech was a special treat when I could make it. The app is nice. Bookmarks and highlighting capability would be nicer.
There are gems among magazines, and this is one of them. With material for old and young like, it provides all you need to develop your critical thinking and learn new things. Highly recommended. Excellent app; never had any problems with it, both on my older iPad and on this one, an air 2.
So far, I like this app, my only complaint is that Im unable to hold a word and get dictionary definitions. Change that, and I LOVE it.

Some bad moments

Obscenely slow to download magazine, unable to register via app, website was down. Will stick to Zinio.
Its a good job the contents of the magazine are still good when you can get to them. The app is slow, crashy and disappointing.
I bought the Steve Jobs edition but it wont download. App keeps crashing.
Problems downloading magazine. Doesnt work well I would buy again.
Its basically like viewing a desktop website or PDF. You have to manually zoom and pan around the page. I was expecting something built for the smaller screen. It seems like they could also add colour and other content. Its a great mag, though.
This app does not work. No option to contact publisher of magazine that is purchased. No support when product stops working. Do not purchase magazines through this app.
